Join us for a night of exploring, The Mirror, a student art show curated by Professor Emilio Villalba. You'll see intentional work from drawings to paintings with the theme being a mirror.
Painting Class @ The Manor House in Twin Pines Park- 1 Twin Pines Lane Belmont, CA
August 22nd, 2026 6-8pm
Join us for a free and fun painting class. The class is scheduled on Saturday, August 22nd, 6-8pm. From 6-7:30pm there will be guided painting instruction and from 7:30-8pm there will be art sharing and feedback. This art class will be taught by our Community Arts Curator, Heather Birnbaum Harris and local artist Dorothea McCowan. All levels are welcome. The activity will be to paint greeting cards using gauche paint. There is limited seating (13 spots) so if you are interested in sighing up please email twinpinesarts@belmont.gov and please include your phone number. We hope to see you there!

Edgar and Diana are excited to invite everyone to their charming restaurant that serves a sophisticated fare of creative dishes. Join us at the Farm House restaurant for an evening celebrating local artist, musicians, and writers. For $20 at the door, enjoy a complementary glass of great wine, hors d'oeuvres, and live music. Come and enjoy the talent and support the arts.
Artists and Writers:
All new art will be displayed by various artists using different mediums. Take part for a chance to learn their techniques. Wise writers will be sharing excerpts from their books, and what inspires them. Books and artwork will be for sale.
Live Music by Sean Beggar & Veronica Margaret
We are all in for a treat with these two super talents playing their soulful, old-time melodies, and voices that will melt your heart. Individually, they'll be performing their own style of music and together they'll weave the past and present into a timeless evening. Both are storytellers. Both are born and raised in the Bay Area.
Local Writers' Reading Event @ The Manor House in Twin Pines Park- 1 Twin Pines Lane Belmont, CA

Get to know four local Bay Area writers and what they're up to with their writing inspirations. Learn about their stories, their process, and what stage they're in with their writing goals. Heather Birnhaum Harris will be interviewing the panel, followed with a Q & A from the audience. The event is free. Books will be for sale. Come and enjoy the fun.
